Based in Accra, Ghana · Open to Global Collaboration
Vision-driven leader building climate-resilient communities, scaling circular economy solutions, and empowering youth across Ghana and Africa — through technology, advocacy, and strategic leadership.
About Me
I'm Frank Abeiku Koomson — a Ghanaian sustainability entrepreneur, GreenTech innovator, nonprofit founder, and youth development leader operating across multiple sectors with one unifying thread: turning ideas into lasting, scalable impact.
As Founder and Executive Director of SWK Ghana, I lead a youth-focused nonprofit tackling environmental sustainability, circular economy, agribusiness, community development, and technology — with a vision to scale across Africa by 2035. My flagship GreenTech innovation, the SWK Taka Kipawa App (meaning "Waste is a Gift" in Swahili), is a digital waste management and upcycling marketplace connecting households, waste contractors, and recyclers.
Concurrently, I serve as Global Operations Associate at The HuD Group, overseeing a network of 27 Country CEOs worldwide. I'm also a Programs Coordinator at The Shadrach Fellowship, a Youth Mentor at the Emerging Young Corporate Leaders Fellowship (EYCLF), and an Ambassador at the GIZ/EU-funded Agribusiness e-Academy — mobilising youth in climate-smart agriculture.
I hold a BA in Geography & Resource Development with Political Science from the University of Ghana (GPA 3.63/4.00) and completed Backend Web Development training at MEST Africa in 2024, where I built the Taka Kipawa App during the GROW Program.
What I Do
This dissertation assessed and mapped the spatial distribution of prevalent crimes in Amasaman, Ga West Municipality, using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and crime hot-spot analysis techniques. The study examined crime patterns across residential, commercial, and peri-urban zones, identifying the geographic concentrations of criminal activity and the socio-environmental factors driving them. The research contributes an evidence-based spatial framework for informing community policing strategies, local government planning, and resource allocation in rapidly urbanising Ghanaian municipalities.
